Pastor Rick Gordon is a 1972 graduate of Capital University and a 1976 graduate of Trinity Lutheran Theological Seminary both in Columbus, Ohio.  He has 35 years of Pastoral Ministry serving congregations in Warren, Bath and Akron, Ohio.  Rick is married to Alice who is The Director of Nurse Midwifery for Paragon and Associates in Akron, Ohio.  They have three children and two grandchildren.  Over the years Rick has gained experience as a chaplain for The Ohio Youth Commission, youth football-basketball coaching, spiritual care teacher and as a First Call Pastor Mentor.  He was called as pastor to St. John/ St. Paul Lutheran Church, Akron in 2005 and has been blessed and inspired by the inception and growth of the OASIS ministry since that time.
