Executive Director
When I think back on the pace of my childhood, I am amazed at how few moments I ever sat still.
I didn’t enter youth ministry to help youth slow down their lives enough to notice when they were heading down a dangerous path; I became a youth minister because it was a blast! But over the years I have come to realize that the combination of hilarious stunts and crazy experiences intermixed with periods of prayer, worship, and contemplation is all we need to give God a chance to speak up and take care of all of us who are at risk.
A graduate of Copley High School, The University of Akron, Kent State University and Ashland Theological Seminary, I was ordained as a Lutheran Pastor in 2009. After twenty seven years in ministry I have realized the best way for youth to grow is to draw together in community and to spend time with God. OASIS provides a safe place for all of us to gather as a family and consider the thoughts we are thinking and the steps we are taking and to think again and to begin again. OASIS is a place where lives are changing.
